Le French Club is a place where French language is enjoyed, experienced, discovered and developed. Everyone, whatever the level, can flourish within the relaxed, nurturing environment of the lesson. The aim is to teach French simply, practically, grammatically, building confidence in speaking and understanding.
Le French Club offers French learning for different levels and group sizes:
Coco-Rico is Le French Club’s programme for toddlers and pre-schoolers to experience and absorb French words, phrases and numbers whilst having fun. The class is entertaining and interactive, full of catchy action songs and dancing with Cocorico, the friendly French cockerel. This is a well-loved and successful class for Playgroup and Nursery settings.
Coco-Biscuit is Le French Club’s after-school programme for Primary school aged children. It’s an immersive, fun class where language is developed through traditional songs, games and crafts, with an all-important French after-school snack.
Classes focus on acquiring a love of language-learning with children adopting French phrases, vocabulary and intuition through interactive stories and play.

Le French Club is run by Catherine, a local, DBS checked, experienced French teacher, who grew up speaking French with her Parisian mother and has a love for all things français. Her aim is for everyone to develop an affinity with the language, to enjoy speaking with a good accent and have the assurance that conversations will progress smoothly. It will inevitably enhance your experience and lead to friendships.
For children, Catherine aims to share the joy of French, introducing the language in a stimulating environment through songs and stories that children naturally adopt and mimic, effortlessly picking up French in the same way they are acquiring their native language.
Contact Catherine for details about any of the above sessions as well as personalised and group tutoring.
